Workshop Renovation 2009

Welcome to the Night Sky Workshop 2009 section.  Check out the things happening this year.  Below is a set of ramps I put together so Cindy can get into a friends' house.  Haven't tested them yet, but I am pretty sure they will work.

Decided to build a wooden planter box thingy for a Japanese maple we just got.  Here it is:

Also got a visit from the workshop turtle you may remember from years back ... he has grown a bit !

I was fortunate enough to obtain a new toy ... a disc/belt sander!  (Thank you Ed !)  I was inspired to build a mobile table for it so I could move it around as needed.  Check it out:

I also added a few new things this month ... with my new sander I made a holder for chisels for my lathe ... even mounted it on the wall and everything !

Also installed some solar lights ... and decided I may need a few more before all is said and done:

Finally got to play with bricks this weekend !  Check out the beginning of the project:

Here is some detail of making a brick curve around the pvc used for the table and chairs:

Amazing what a diamond tipped blade can do!  Check back for the completion of this project.

Today I created the amazing "fluid removal device" for my workshop!  It can be used for many things, such as pouring out old coffee, emptying water bottles, etc.  No, it is not a urinal.

Decided to move a fence gate to the back fence, giving me easier access to the wooded area behind my workshop.  This picture was taken from the back door of the workshop, and I may put in a brick path to the gate if I get bored sometime.
