Workshop Renovation Well, it has been awhile since I posted anything on here. But I finally got to play in my workshop some recently. I added a heating unit to help me on those cold mornings, but had no place to put it, so I built a new wall. Check it out:
I got a little of the wallboard up from some scraps I had stashed away. Also installed some pegboard from pieces I had left over from other projects (it is on both sides of the wall). The heater actually works after I installed a 12/3 wire from the panel to the unit. Now I just need to get the rest of the wallboard up and get it painted, and do a little ceiling work. Damn, this is fun !

Did some more work on the wall over the past few months. It is looking a tad better than the last time you saw it!
July 13, 2008 Finally finished doing the trim work on the big window today. The glass is now sandwiched between foam strips to keep it secure and prevent it from rattling when I hammer or otherwise work on the wall.
I also did a fairly significant amount of painting and trim-work on the other side of the new portion of the wall.
Notice the detail on the "coffee cubbies" below (so named because a cup of coffee fits perfectly inside them, although they can be used for any storage purpose).
