Workshop Renovation 2004 September 05, 2004
Started building my wall this morning ... got the basic frame done, but waiting for daylight before I use my chop saw too much. Did some design work in the meantime, and decided to put a shelf in the opening, and then will be installing a huge piece of glass to make a window.
Attempting to find something a bit less noisy, I continued working on my ceiling. Got another row put in, and hope to have the entire section from this point to the entrance door done before Labor Day weekend is over !

Got my wallboard picked up with the assistance of Hugh yesterday afternoon, so I was able to get started bright and early on the new wall.
Finished the framing this morning, roughed in the electrical outlet (20 amp outlet so I can use it with my new air compressor !). Got the shelf installed and primed, and left an opening to accommodate a sheet of glass that was going to be thrown out at work.

Finished this side of the new wall today ... got the trim installed and painted, the wall painted, and my ladder hung. Now to work on the other side ...
