Workshop Renovation 2004 June 05, 2004
I finished my attic stairway, and I must admit I LOVE IT ! Gives me easy access to the attic area without having to move a ladder. Even installed a 2' X 4' light fixture in front of it so I can see it better !

Installed more ceiling tile, and some more lights. Had to get a bit creative around the attic access area, but it worked out well.
I found this sign that was being thrown out by someone, and did a little renovation on it. Had to clean it up quite a bit, then repainted it and installed in on the sidewalk to the workshop, due to the high number of squirrels that frequent the area. This sign will save a lot of squirrel lives ! :-)

Just got back from a business trip to Palm Springs, CA. Above is part of the resort that reminded me a bit of Costa Rica, and is very similar to the porch I plan to build on my workshop.
This is a waterfall at the resort ... maybe I will build one of these too ! :-)
June 19, 2004 Beach Trip
Just got back from the beach ... this is my fishing spot at Sunset Beach. Spend my early mornings out here fishing and drinking coffee. Only caught one this year ... a tad small to keep so I tossed it back so I can catch it next year.
This is the ring toss game at the cottage where we stay. I keep wanting to make one of these, but always forget, so this year I took a picture of it so I can remember to do that !

Started building my shelf under my staircase today. Should look good and be a handy storage area when I finish.
Here is another view ... you can see the yellow 12 gauge wire hanging down from the top that will eventually be the switch to the attic lights.
Here is the Night Sky Lizard ... seen him around quite a bit, and finally got a picture of him. :-)
