Workshop Renovation 2004 July 03, 2004
Checking in on the barrel flowers ... seem to have grown a bit since they were planted in May ... :-)
Getting the walls put in around the attic stair. Will look good when I paint it !
Here is the shelf under the attic stairs. Looking good so far !
Here is the new add-on to the wood storage bin. I am going to be taking down the old one near the back door and have all my wood storage here. That will give me more room in the back, where I plan to move my work tables which, in turn, will allow room to install a door that will lead out to my tile patio. Major projects ahead, so keep checking back !

Finished up on the basic frame, will all surfaces amazingly level ! Also installed the first two pieces of plywood. Still have 3 more shelves to build, but I think I better go ahead and paint the wall behind this before it becomes too difficult to access.
Here is a closer view.
And here it is with the wall painted ... primer coat and my workshop gray. Now I can finish the rest of the shelves !
Got the switch installed for the attic lights. Going to be using 12-3 wire from the switch to the first light so I will be able to carry a hot wire onto other uses. Still have a bit of wallboard work to do here.

Getting close to finishing my storage under the attic stairs !
Been up since 5:00 am working in my wood bin ... basically finished ! Tore the old one down and moved the wood to the new location.
Have to put wallboard up on this side ... future site of outdoor tool storage !

Well, here is my new lawn and garden tool wall ... all primed and painted. Will need to install some hooks to hold rakes and shovels, along with some trim along the top, bottom, and sides. Hopefully I can get the drop-down ceiling started in this area also !

Finished framing out the shelf under the stairs today ... added a magnetic tool holder above it because it matches my color scheme !
Also got the hooks I needed to finish my garden tool area. Then I crawled under the house to unclog the hallway bathtub trap ... always a pleasure to return under the house !
