Workshop Renovation 2005

January 04, 2005

Well, I have not been able to make any significant progress in my workshop lately ... been relatively busy at work.  While I have not done much renovation at home, renovation at work continues.  Check out the pictures of my new office as it develops:

This is the view as you are walking to my office.  Since there is still some work being done to some offices on the left, the old carpet is still on the floor here.  This will soon be replaced with an impressive floor covering.

Here you are just outside my door.  The three windows on my wall allow outside light to stream through this entire area up to the main hallway.

Yes, I still have some cleaning up to do along the window sill, but progress is being made !

Here is my desk area.  Notice the pictures and shadow boxes on the wall.  The shadow boxes contain shells that I gathered while working as a scuba guide when I was 17 years old !

This is a table with a tiled top that Cindy found while bargain shopping ... looks pretty good, doesn't it ?

Well, it is finally time to get rid of the three pine trees that threaten our house every time an ice storm or hurricane comes through.  There they are, above in the right half of the picture.

If you look closely, you can see the tree climber cutting limbs off about two-thirds of the way up on the tree in the center.

Here they are, laying harmlessly on the ground with their stumps ground up.  Now it will be interesting to see if the two crepe myrtles on the right of our property will grow and bloom more !
