Workshop Renovation January, 2003 Workshop progress has been a bit slow as I was in Alaska for a few weeks this month. Plan to start back this week, so stay tuned for more action and adventure in David's Workshop ! Below is a picture of some of the scenery in Kodiak, AK:

January 26, 2003
Began work again today, completing a portion of the frame for the pegboard that will be above the workbench. Still more to do, but this is a start!
Also got the wallboard up over the pipe, the section that extends out about 2 inches further than the rest of the wall. Still have a little trim work to do around it, but finally we are seeing some progress! The pegboard frame will continue to this point in the wall, so I will have access to LOTS of peghooks!
January 30, 2003
Added more wood to the pegboard frame this morning (in 30 degree temperatures ! ), but ran into a small problem. The frame pieces on the top, bottom, and each end are on a wall stud, but the ones in the middle are not. Will have to come up with a secure way to fasten them to the wallboard before the pegboards go up. I am painting the pegboards black to give them an impressive look for the slowly developing ultimate workshop !
