Workshop Renovation 2004 April 02, 2004 Back to work on the walls in the kitchen. Did a bit of chiseling to make the 3/8" wallboard lie flush with the doorframe and got some more wall covered.
Got the new light assembled today. This will be going over the new stovetop, hopefully sometime this weekend.

Got the double switch installed that will operate the lights over the washer/dryer area and the new light over the cooktop.
Here it is ... now let's turn on the switch and see if it works.
Of course it does ! Still have another day left this weekend ... let's see what we can do with it !

Finally finished painting the rest of this wall. Been dying to do that for months, but outside temperature or my schedule prevented me from doing that. But here it is !
And now the professional shelves go up so I have a little room to store stuff. Watch out ... may actually get a bit organized in here !

Got up a bit early this morning and finished installing the pegboard extension. As you can see, the shelves are already being used, even though I need to go back and paint them. Now I just need to clean up this area a bit, put in some trim here and there, and I will be ready to move on. Only about 8 more pieces of wallboard to put up and that part will be finished ! :-)

Got a little detail work done this weekend. Cleaned up the corner, installed the carpet (well, rolled it out), wired a few outlets so I can use a small refrigerator, and just generally made it look a bit neater.
